innovation were approached by the Park Island Residential Group to assess the feasibility of making Ma Wan Village a tourist destination and education centre that combines nature, learning, arts and love, with an emphasis on outdoor interactive instruction. Feasibility studies and local audits were carried out to identify the main problems and opportunities in the area.

Our design team created sketch drawings of suggested solutions to brighten and refresh the overall environment which involved colour coding areas of historical interest, providing themed food and beverage outlets, refurbishing exteriors of significant buildings and transportation stations. Way-finding was also key to the project which had to be both visible but remain unobtrusive in the environment. The project was shelved during concept stage.
